BRUTON FESTIVAL OF ARTS SWEATSHOP WRITING COMPETITION 2014

The Adults competition drew 13 entrants, and the standard was again very high. The winning entries were by Yseult Ogilvie, an architect from Wincanton; Georgie Newbery, who runs Common Farm Flowers at Charlton Musgrove; and Ruth Brannagan, who teaches at King’s.


First: No.6 – Incontinent by Yseult Ogilvie
Second: No.13 – Fantasyland by Georgie Newbery
Third: No.8 – The Lady at No.30 by Ruth Brannagan
